The body of this necklace is fire colored faceted agate beads. Red symbolizes power, assertiveness, excitement, confidence and courage. The focal point is a large black oval agate pendant. Black and red compliment each other perfectly as black implies independence and strong will while absorbing negative energy. We call this piece The Amelia after Amelia Earhart, the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic ocean. She was a strong and determined feminist who counseled women on careers and helped inspire others with her love for aviation. She was also a member of the National Women’s Party and an early supporter of the Equal Rights Amendment. We created The Amelia for women who won't quit until they succeed as-well-as those who need a little extra strength and confidence in their lives right now.
